First one on our list is our newest team member at Commit Global, Merve Ceren Yüksel. Ceren is based in Istanbul, joined Commit last June and is part of our IT/Software localization team.
1.So Ceren, what’s your title and how long have you worked at Commit Global?
Junior Project Manager and it’s been 3 months now.
2.What does your job entail?
Meeting client’s needs with the translators, localization professionals that are best suited for the project.
3.What do you like most about your job?
I like managing customer relations as well as communication with translators.
4.What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
Everything can change suddenly, so do not make assumptions.
5.What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
Freelance translator
6.What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Reading, Netflix and chill, travelling
